General Questions

I AM A DISTRIBUTOR, DO YOU DO BUSINESS WITH END USERS?

NO, our business model is doing business with distributors and wholesalers.  We will confirm the persons business model before we supply the price list to them.

Bucksports is a professional supplier of Custom Apparel & Sportswear. We have positioned ourselves to own the customization processes from beginning to end. With our own dedicated factories, we can deliver professional level apparel in record time. This advantage also lets us keep the prices down while providing top-class materials, performance and service.

Bucksports will sincerely cooperate with customers in Australia, New Zealand, Canada and Europe to create a bright future together.

IS THERE A MINIMUM NUMBER OF GARMENTS THAT CAN BE ORDERED?

Yes, there is. We require a minimum order of 10 sublimation apparel per style, per order. Jackets, hoodies, outdoor garments minimum order of 20 pcs.

For repeat orders from previous orders have no minimums if ordered within two years of the original order date.

WHAT IS THE TURNAROUND TIME FOR MY ORDER?

Your garments should be delivered to you within approximately four weeks after we receive your deposit and confirmed order form with you. If you have any special turnaround requirements, please give us a call and we’ll happily discuss them with you.

Update: Delivery networks are busier than usual, which may mean slight delays. Please allow for extra time for special deliveries.

WHAT PAYMENT METHODS DO YOU ACCEPT?

We accept Stripe, PayPal, Money bank transfer.

We have a Commonwealth bank account for the Australian market, a Westpac bank account for New Zealand and a TD bank account for Canada. Please contact bill@bucksportswear.com for bank account details.

IS THERE THE PRICE INCLUDE DUTY, TAX, GST, HST...

NO! All prices do not include tax.

Notice the price quoted is exclusive GST/HST, custom duty & handling cost for the clear goods from custom office. Please confirm with your customs office to notice the policy before importing our goods.

WILL I HAVE TO PAY DUTIES FOR MY IMPORTED TO AUSTRALIA OR NEW ZEALAND?

Yes, all of the orders are shipped directly from my China Base to Client directly. There will be some taxes or duties that will happen if possible. We can supply a certificate of origin from China to help you to save the Duties. Normally, the COO file charge is $30.

As you know, China and Australia/New Zealand have a free trade agreement. The COO can help you to save some money for import duty, but there are still some GST and handle costs that need to be paid. Please ask your Custom Officer to get an exact reply.

WILL I HAVE TO PAY DUTIES FOR MY IMPORTED TO CANADA?

YES!  For Canada, there is no free trade agreement with China. Our clothing is 100% polyester, so the duty will be 18% of the CIF price of apparel value that equals FOB + Freight. Please ask your Custom Officer to get an exact reply.

RECENTLY FOR TRAFFIC ISSUES IN THE WORLD. CAN I GET A SUGGESTION ON CUSTOMS CHARGES?

Recently there have been traffic issues in the world. Border Force from Australia, New Zealand & Canada. Each parcel will be checked by a custom office from China. So please carefully treat and supply as many as possible documents to freight companies. They will help to clear customs.
Recently the cost from the border force will be charged including duty, GST/HST& handle cost. Duty from Australia and New Zealand will be remitted after we supply COO (Certificated of Origin) Between China Australia & New Zealand, they have free trade agreements.

Duty cost=it can be remitted after supplying the COO file to freight dealers, they will send Our COO to Custom to remit duty.
We will supply COO file free when the goods value excluding freight over AUD$1000
If the goods value less than AUD$1000, the COO cost will be AUD$30
Custom office handle cost: AUD$83 if your goods are over AUD$1000.

1. Select a design. Customers only need to buy the products they are interested in and select the product design in Bucksports’ standard design library, and then add logo to make their own samples.
2. Product display. Bucksports will provide picture albums, size chart, fabric chart and price list, so their customers can easily show products to consumers and win orders.
3. Exclusive service for large orders. Bucksports will cooperate with customers to meet the requirements of consumers by high-quality products, short delivery time and low cost, so as to help customers to win orders.

WHAT'S YOUR RETURN POLICY?

Custom

All garments must be approved by you before production. This is done at the end of the design stage. Approving design mocks ensure all parties agree to the artwork and garment being manufactured.
We rely on you to ensure names and numbers are spelt and allocated correctly on the garments.
Any errors in artwork, product type, spelling or quantity that have been approved and supplied by you will not be refunded. We are more than happy to discuss alternate resolutions with you.
If you receive a faulty product (manufacturing or fabric), or design that does not match the approved artwork, we will gladly replace the product for you. Please return the faulty product so that we can assess where the issue arose and hopefully prevent it from occurring again.
We will not refund damaged items caused by incorrect use or activities unsuitable for the garment.

Merchandise

If you change your mind about purchased merchandise, we will offer credit for the cost of the product and accept the return from you, subject to the following conditions:

  • Item(s) must be returned within 14 days of purchase
  • Item(s) must be unworn, unwashed, unused, undamaged and tag still attached.
  • You are responsible for the costs associated with the return of the product.

We do not accept returns on any swimwear/undergarment products.
If you receive a faulty product, we will gladly replace the product for you. Please return the faulty product so that we can assess where the issue arose and hopefully prevent it from occurring again.

Access to more designs

When you order custom sports apparel online, chances are you will be able to choose between a wider range of designs. Local printers or uniform suppliers are often very limited to mediocre brands of clothing. Many of them a part of a chain of stores, that all buy from one supplier.

This means their design abilities are greatly reduced. Furthermore, a local uniform supplier will also only have one or two printing styles available to them. For high-quality printing options, such a dye sublimation printing, they have to outsource it. Who do they outsource to? Well, that is often either overseas, or to an online sports clothing manufacturer such as Bucksports.

This means buying local is usually not what you are doing. You are hiring a middleman to outsource for you. At Bucksports we manufacture our own clothing to meet the specifications of our clients.

HOW LONG DOES ARTWORK TAKE?

Artwork lead time is generally 3-5 days. Please discuss urgent artwork requirements with us.

CAN I PROVIDE PMS COLOURS FOR MY DESIGN?

Yes, we can colour match PMS colours for your design. However, colour matching is subjective and having a 100% colour match may not be possible due to the difference between colour on card and fabric. Please provide PMS(Pantone matching system) FORMULA GUIDE SOLID COATED (GP1601) colour number, so we can match it. Click view Pantone digital that browse on screen.

PMS stands for Pantone Matching System. A popular colour matching system used by the printing industry to print spot colours. This assures that you get the right colour when the file is printed, even though the colour may not look right when displayed on your monitor.

HOW TO CUSTOMISE YOUR SPORTS JERSEYS WELL?

Creating high quality custom football jerseys can be a tricky process. Once you have gone through all the choices, and they go for print, there is usually no turning back. So, getting the design and other choices right is very important.

Here are some of the main things to consider when designing jerseys for school teams or club teams, that may help you make more confident choices.

1. Trust A Professional Designer

If you work with an experienced sports uniform designer, they can help you avoid common mistakes. They would have seen them all before. Whether it is advice on choosing colours, where to place logos or advertising, size of text and numbers or other options, they will be able to give you advice that counts.

2. Choose The Best Fabric In Your Budget

Working within your budget is of course a very important consideration. In the long term, the quality of the material you choose will have the biggest affect on value. The quality of material will be the difference for how long your custom sports uniforms last. The quality of material will decide how long your shirts hold their shape. The quality of material dictates how easily a stain can be removed from a jacket and so on.

3. Work With Trusted Manufacturers

We highly recommend choosing a sportswear designer that manufactures their own clothing. This takes away the risk of not getting what you hoped for when your uniforms arrive. A supplier who manufactures their own clothing has control over the quality.

If your supplier is outsourcing the manufacturing, then the quality is out of their hands. They become vulnerable to manufacturers taking short cuts, altering materials used, and so on. They also lose control of the timing. Your artwork also becomes vulnerable to translation issues and their compatibility with different companies print facilities.

The last thing you want is to be playing phone tag with a middleman who has lost control. while your team needs their uniforms today.

4. Keep It Simple

As with many things in life, simplicity is often the cornerstone of quality design. We recommend not overcomplicating or over designing your sports uniforms. Strong, bold colours and lettering send a more powerful message than busy colours with lots of advertising messages.

WILL THE COLOUR BE EXACTLY THE SAME ON ALL THE FABRICS?

Colour may vary slightly when applied to different fabrics. Different weaves can give colours a different appearance.

HOW ABOUT THE LOGO?

We do request the logo to be in a vector format such as eps/pdf/ai files to meet the high quality of dye sublimation printing. If you have a low-quality format such as a JPG, BMP or GIF file, we may need to recreate the logo in a higher resolution format which would incur additional fees.

Redraw fees are calculated per each logo. Please allow an add on time on top of the 48 hours turnaround for the job to be completed.

WHAT IS A VECTOR?

A vector file is constructed using mathematical formulas rather than individual coloured blocks which can remain editable to adjust text or other graphic elements for print. The common vector file types are EPS, Al and PDF. Having your graphic in this format allows for more creative options for the designer to use such as full-colour change, editing all elements and to be able to use the logo in the garment overall design than just a simple chest logo. This will allow the logo to be 100% scaleable without losing the quality of the logo and all its elements which are perfect for print.

CAN YOU DIGITIZE THE EMBROIDERY LOGO?

Yes, we can assist, the additional cost will apply.

HOW TO DIGITIZE ARTWORK IN EMBROIDERY?

A good embroidery design keeps the balance with production and client’s satisfaction. We have to know some information:
Clearly picture
Size information
Fabrics for embroidery
Fabric colours and embroidery colours will be optional

But at the start we need to know you more:
For production, we need to know how is your machine working?
What are the details your machine can embroidery?
Letters and borders and your machineability in every direction.
We have an EMB and DST file that let you test your machine. If you want to get please contact us at order@embfan.com. You can test it with different fabrics and get the result.

CAN I USE A PHOTO OR BITMAPS IN MY DESIGN?

Yes, but the end result will be based on the quality of the image supplied. We need the file to be 300dpi at the final output size required on your product. For example, if you want a 30cm x 30cm image across the front of your polo shirt, you will need to supply an image that is 30cm x 30cm @ 300dpi.

Illustrations can be redrawn with the price depending on the details required to redraw. Please allow an additional time on top of the 2 business days turnaround if requesting a redraw of an illustration.

HOW MANY LOGOS CAN I ADD TO MY DESIGN?

You can add unlimited logos/sponsors to your product. Please supply logos as vector graphics when possible. Your artwork may require extra time to complete if a large number of logos are required.

CAN YOU PROVIDE SPECIAL PROCESS CUSTOM LOGO?

Yes, there is a variety of logo production processes. Sublimation, embroidery, screen printing, heat transfer, woven, appliances and so on. Individual needs and experience will dictate your choice here, click the link to learn more.

I AM NOT A DESIGNER, HOW CAN I WORK WITH YOUR DESIGN TEAM TO GET THE JOB DONE?

There are three different options. First, you can pick and choose the design from our online design template 700+ library in which our design team is continuously uploading new designs. Second, you can source your own design concept through internet surfing.  Finally, you can download our pattern template from the website, and design your artwork by yourself.

CAN I ADD INDIVIDUAL NAMES AND/OR NUMBERS TO MY GARMENT?

Yes, you can. Please double check all spelling, numbering and sizing as we print exactly what is contained in the names and numbers sheets provided. Please take note – certain fonts contain only uppercase or lowercase text and some non-text characters may not appear as expected. Some fonts and numbers may need to be scaled to fit smaller-sized patterns.

Ordering & Delivery

WHAT IS POLYESTER DYE SUBLIMATION?

Dye sublimation is a digital printing technology that enables the reproduction of colourful images on common everyday items, including clothing and novelties.

You create an image on your computer, print it onto special transfer paper using sublimation inks, and then apply the paper with the image onto the item to be decorated. Using a heat press, the transfer paper is pressed onto the surface at 240 degrees, which then causes the sublimation inks to “transfer” from the paper to any pol􀀂mer fibres within the substrate. After about a minute, the heat is removed and the transfer paper 1s peeled off, leaving behind a permanent full-colour image on the substrate.

Sublimation ink is unique in its ability to convert from a solid to a gas without going through a liquid form. The conversion is initiated by heat and controlled with pressure and time. The high temperature – from a heat transfer press – opens the pores of the polymer and allows the gas to enter. When the temperature drops, the pores close and the gas reverts to a solid-state. The print then becomes part of the polymer.

Hard items including ceramics and metals require a special coating to accept the sublimation inks. However, you do not need any coating on 100% polyester items such as mouse mats and 100% polyester fabric. We stock a wide range of sublimation printable fabrics.

WHAT IS COTTON DIRECT PRINTING?

Direct printing is a digital printing technology that enables the reproduction of colourful images on clothing and novelties. After years of research and development, we will apply the technology to clothing customization.

WHY WE USE POLYESTER SUBLIMATION AND COTTON DIRECT PRINTING TO CUSTOM APPAREL?

What is a custom sportswear requirement?

Benefits of sublimation:
Numbering can be done when printing, eliminating the need to have hot sweaty plastic numbers on the back;
Logos, names, numbers and sponsors can be included in the design in full colour;
Design is virtually unlimited, from simple shapes and colours to blends, shadows and photographic images;
Garments do not fade and printing does not crack;

Some times: Price can be cheaper than traditional-panelled garments with the additional costs of embroidery, numbers, lettering and screen-printing;

ARE YOU OFFERING A CUT & SEW SERVICE?

We can handle cut and sew, but for our cut and sew range, we can only supply some fabrics of good quality, not like marketing fabrics.
We have two different fabrics one for polo shirt and t-shirt, the other for jackets and hoodies.

Absolutely! In fact, we encourage sampling. We have worked tirelessly to develop a world-class pre-production sampling service. Sampling provides peace of mind for you and for us. In general terms, pre-production samples will take two weeks.

CAN YOU CUSTOM MAKE MY LABELS AND ACCESSORIES?

Yes, We can make your own neck labels with your brand. We do not accept returns on any swimwear/undergarment products.
If you receive a faulty product, we will gladly replace the product for you. Please return the faulty product so that we can assess where the issue arose and hopefully prevent it from occurring again.

  2. Intellectual Property; Limited License to Users
    • Subject to your compliance with these Terms of Use, any applicable license agreement with Bucksports, and the law, you may access and use the Site. Bucksports remains the sole owner of all right, title, and interest in the Site and reserves all rights not expressly granted under these Terms of Use. Bucksports may modify, replace, or discontinue the Site or any part thereof at any time, for any reason, with or without notice, in Bucksports’s sole discretion. Bucksports provides the Site on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
    • All content on this Site, including but not limited to Images, Footage, Music, and related metadata (collectively the “Bucksports Content”), as well as the selection and arrangement of the Bucksports Content, are protected by copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret and other intellectual property laws and treaties. Any unauthorized use of any Bucksports Content violates such laws and these Terms of Use. Except as expressly provided herein or in a separate license agreement between you and Bucksports, Bucksports does not grant any express or implied permission to use the Site or any Bucksports Content. You agree not to copy, republish, frame, link to, download, transmit, modify, adapt, create derivative works based on, rent, lease, loan, sell, assign, distribute, display, perform, license, sublicense or reverse engineer the Site or any Bucksports Content.     • Unless you enter into a license agreement with Bucksports you may not download, distribute, display and/or copy any Bucksports Content.
    • In the following cases, you need to contact Bucksports to purchase an enhanced image license USD $99 for each design image.
      • Incorporated into merchandise intended for sale or promotional distribution (collectively “Merchandise”), including, without limitation, textiles, artwork, magnets, wall-art, calendars, toys, stationery, greeting cards, and any other physical reproduction for resale or distribution, provided that such Merchandise incorporates material creative or functional elements apart from the Image(s).
      • Incorporated into film, video, television series, advertisement, or other audio-visual productions for distribution in any medium now known or hereafter devised, without regard to audience size, provided the budget for any such production does not exceed USD $10,000;
    • You may not remove any watermarks or copyright notices contained in the Bucksports Content.
  3. Information You Provide
    • Bucksports (or third parties acting on its behalf) may collect information related to your use of the Site. Third-party platforms through which you access the Site may collect information related to your use of such third-party platform and make such information available to Bucksports subject to your agreement with the applicable third-party platform. Bucksports’s collection and use of all such information shall at all times conform to this Terms of Use, the Bucksports Privacy Policy, and applicable law.
    • Bucksports will use and protect your personal information, such as your name and address, in accordance with the Bucksports Privacy Statement, the contents of which are incorporated by reference into these Terms of Use.
  4. Limitations
